Do I need a library card to use the Library?

• You need a library card if you want to borrow books or other items from the library.
• You need a library card if you want to use some of the links on this website from outside the library.
• You do NOT need a card to use materials inside the library.

How much does a library card cost?

• A library card is free.

How do I get a library card?

• Get your Library card at any public library. To find a library see SALS Member Libraries.

• To register, adults must have identification that includes both name and current address. Some things you can bring are:
  • A driver's license
  • Picture ID
  • Rent receipt
  • Tax bill
  • Utility bill
  • Apartment lease
  • Letter on letterhead stationery from a shelter for the homeless.
