Top 10 ways Libraries support adult literacy

  1. Help adult learners get a library card.
  2. Give library tours to adult learners and tutors.
  3. Assist learners who are using computers for email, connection to home newspapers, and to practice English skills.
  4. Answer questions and help learners find information at a level they can read and understand.
  5. Provide comfortable spaces for self-study and tutoring
  6. Find library materials to support adult learners – (tutors) (students)
  7. Invite learners to attend library programs
